Mastering the electromagnetic spectrum, a prerequisite for operational superiority

AEGIR takes part in the seminar of the École de guerre's Electromagnetic Warfare Committee (GCEM), bringing together operators, experts and industry.

Poster of the GCEM seminar of the École de guerre, 3 June 2026, École militaire, Paris, with the morning and afternoon programme.

With the return of high-intensity conflict and ever-faster targeting cycles, control of the electromagnetic domain has become a major issue for armed forces. Detection, geolocation, jamming, system protection and coordination of multi-domain effects: the ability to act in the spectrum now determines the effectiveness of military operations.

The seminar organised by the École de guerre’s GCEM Committee addresses how to understand, master and conduct operations in the electromagnetic domain. These discussions echo AEGIR’s work on Command & Control, data fusion and tracking, in support of situational understanding and decision-making.

Thanks to the organisers for this initiative.
