EUROMARITIME, day 1: AI for maritime surveillance
On the first day of EUROMARITIME in Marseille, AEGIR met Hervé Berville, former Secretary of State for the Sea and Biodiversity, and many other visitors.
The discussions focused on the role of artificial intelligence in the maritime and naval defence sectors. AEGIR presented its work in maritime surveillance and the protection of critical offshore infrastructure, and the strategic importance of AI and algorithms in this key area for European sovereignty.
The AEGIR team was on the Brittany Pavilion of Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique.
