EUROMARITIME: maritime surveillance and sovereignty

At EUROMARITIME, Mikaël Volut, CEO and co-founder of AEGIR, speaks at the panel on maritime surveillance in the context of sovereignty.

How can artificial intelligence, combined with autonomous systems and modern communications, multiply operational capabilities and strengthen European sovereignty at sea?

In a context of renewed sovereignty, control of maritime areas is once again a strategic priority: freedom of navigation, situational awareness, protection of critical zones and infrastructure, and the fight against illegal activities. The rapid development of offshore wind farms amplifies these issues, from surface and subsea detection to crisis management, including maritime drones.

Organised by Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique and moderated by Frédéric Renaudeau, the panel brings together SEA.AI, Chantier Naval Couach, THALOS, Iberdrola France and AEGIR, on Wednesday 4 February, 11:00–11:45 am (plenary conference, Hall 2).
